Baked Rice and Rooster in forged iron

Rooster thighs
1 tl zout
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp paparika
1 tsp dry parsley
2 tbsp oil
1 el gehakte knoflook
1 1/2 cups rooster broth (12oz)
1 cup white rice
1/2 crimson onion chopped

Preheat oven to 400°

In a big bowl evenly season rooster thighs with salt, pepper, paprika and parsley

On excessive warmth pour olive oil within the pan place rooster thighs and prepare dinner 5 to six minutes on both sides

Take away from pan and put aside

Add garlic and onions to the pan and prepare dinner till onions are clear

Pour within the rice and rooster broth to the pan, season with salt and pepper, stir and produce to a boil

Add the rooster thighs again into the pan pores and skin aspect up, on prime of the rice, convey to a boil and canopy with a lid

Bake for 20-25 minutes or till rice is totally cooked

Garnish with cilantro (I used to be out of cilantro as to why there isn’t any in my pic)
